Welcome!

This is the home of Tracey Keeley (Classical acoustic violin) and Tracey RockViolin (Electric violin).  

 Ok, so a little background about me.  I studied with world famous classical soloist Alfredo Campoli and then went onto The Guildhall School of Music & Drama to study with Detlef Hahn.

 I've had quite a varied career, played in London's West End, recording session work (you can hear some of these via the recordings tab), I was Court Musician to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as a member of The Band of The Scots Guards, leading the orchestra and appearing as soloist with the band on many occasions internationally, performing to many Heads of State including Presidents Bush and Putin. (Yes, before you ask, I was a trained soldier!).

 Since moving to Dubai in 2013 I've enjoyed many exciting performance opportunities, from accompanying Andrea Bocelli as well as The Jacksons, to working with Sydney Opera House on their UAE Tour and many many more! 

 So that's the classical trained violinist in me, but my passion has always been Rock.  When I go back to UK every year I love catching up with my friends in The Haunting A.D. where we play many original songs and some covers too.

 During the pandemic I made it my mission to transcribe fully for electric violin many classic guitar solos, including works by Hendrix and Metallica.  3D Violins in France were really helpful when it came to working out the right frequencies needed to emulate a good guitar sound - thanks guys!
